A BEAUTIFUL GIFT FROM ALLAH (SWT)

Assalam oalaikum,

If we look around ourselves we cannot help getting enchanted by the ethereal beauty of the nature. The deep blue sea, the inviting snow-capped mountains, the lush greenery, the dewdrops on leaves in misty mornings; the rainbow…the list can go on. The beauty of the world is enough to enchant us and mesmerize us. However, the beauty of Paradise is something which is beyond our imagination because it is going to be much superior to what we have witnessed on this earth. If Allah (swt) has made this temporary world so beautiful then we can well imagine how beautiful would be His Paradise in which the pious people will dwell forever. When Allah (swt) will reward those people who obeyed Him instead of Satan in this world, then we can imagine how great the reward will be as Allah (swt) will be greatly pleased with His loyal and pious followers.

If we try to think about the magnitude of this universe, we will get dazed. Allah (swt) says in the Holy Quran, 3:133 ‘And hasten to forgiveness from your Lord and a Garden as wide as heavens and the earth prepared for the righteous’. This verse shows that the enormity of the Paradise will be as much as the earth and the Heavens put together.

Now let us look into the other features of the Paradise. The inhabitants of this world often cherish gold ornaments and also other items such as gold cufflinks, gold pens etc. We have also heard of gold coins and gold bars and as a matter of fact, the largest gold bar in the world weighs around 250 kg/551 lb. That’s it! However, the gold that will be rewarded to the dwellers of the Paradise will be mind-boggling. A mere description about the gold found in the Paradise can leave us completely dazed. So how much will be the astonishment (of the dwellers of Paradise) when they will see with their own eyes, not just ornaments but also couches, utensils; combs thrones and bricks made of gold!  This is the Promise of Allah (swt) for His true believers.

Keep Me In Your Prayers.
